About CLILThis 4 day Introduction to CLIL course is designed to give teachers a practical understanding of the research about what CLIL is, the benefits for students, where to start and how to plan and scaffold the learning in the target language to enable students to maximise their language learning. Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) is a dual-focused educational approach in which an additional language is used for the learning and teaching of both content and language. The course aims to enable teachers to support and understand the language needs of students learning through a second or foreign language, to facilitate their comprehension and learning of the content.
