WELCOME
Dear Teachers of Languages,
2017 is shaping up to be another vibrant year for the teaching and learning of Languages in our schools.
Our hope is that this page will be a valuable resource for you - to bring together information about the various professional learning programs on offer as well as serving as a library of helpful resources and readings. A new addition this year will be our Teacher Profiles. Thanks to technology, our professional learning community is larger and better connected than ever. We hope that these profiles will inspire you to connect beyond your usual network and will serve to further strengthen connections between teachers in our sector.
In 2017, the Teachers Supporting Teachers Community (TST) is morphing into the CEM TeachMeet movement - an informal and highly social way to support your work in the area of language learning and teaching. Stay tuned for more information about these events. If you've never been along to a TeachMeet before, it will challenge your thinking about what professional learning can look like.
Communication is what we are all about, so please do not hesitate to give us feedback to help us to continue improving this site.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Brown-Omichi
